Two early goals for Lansdown set the tone for what turned out to be a high scoring match against a disciplined opponent. There is a possibility that the score was 4-1 at half time as the manager and coach did not seem to be keeping a satisfactory record of who scored when. However this was the game when the side really came together and the half time team talk consolidated the quality of the ongoing performance. The whole side worked well together with some stand out moments:
- Sam VV’s excellent individual goal
- Will Storey’s hat trick (including a 6 inch tap in)
- Ed Blogg’s drag flick
- Sam BW’s aerials (2 from 5)
- Johnny Bickle’s positioning as centre half on the left wing
It is always important to have a smile after the match as this young ambassador was keen to point out.
Man of the match went to Jake – for a brilliant all-round performance
