Ladies 4s travelled all the way to Evesham for (yet another) away game. At least the daily downpour stayed away for a fun game of hockey. With me still out of action with a cracked bone, Caz kindly volunteered to lead the team against a very strong Bretforton 2s side.
Bretforton were strong from the first push back but our solid defensive team of Katie, Caz, Vicky and Laura held strong with several attempts at goal. The opposition managed a sneaky break to take the score to 0-1. This didn’t stop our ladies. Our new additions of Lucy and Liberty played some amazing hockey linking up the defence and mids. Even with an away spectator count of three, we were definitely the louder sideline. We had several good chances of goals but just couldn’t get it to hit the backboard.

Heading into the second half with high spirits after an amazing inspirational team talk from yours truly and several haribo. Great distribution and skill from Bethany, Darcy, Neve, India and Freya. Very back and forth with great play from both teams and a very sneaky third goal from the opposition leaves the final score at 0-3.
Amazing play from every single 4s player and nothing constructive to say after the game.
