Ladies 4s vs Colwall and Malvern
Today we ventured to Malvern for another game in our new league. As a team, we’ve really stepped up and certainly are playing a lot stronger than ever before. Up front, we had India, Freya and Georgie putting on the pressure throughout. In the midfield, Neve, Smithy, Bethany, Darcey and Lilia holding the fort. Whilst in defence, Caz, Grace and Katie solidly defended. Laura made some smashing saves, even picking one with her stick.
Sadly, we went 2-0 down in the first half despite relentless pressure. We’ve really taken on Coach Lucie’s advice of triangles, dice 5s and which is hugely helping our play.
Despite valiant efforts and many shots on goal, we lost 4-0.
The best part of the day was when we were surprised with teas of chip butties which we didn’t think were on today!
Votes today were so widespread all round which sums up how well everyone played.
