Here we are again sports fans,
Another DoD for your truly and another win for the boys,
We arrived to Wotton-under-Edge, to a hockey pitch, bathed in sun in the rolling Cotswold hills,
The quality of hockey was a far cry away from the beautiful setting, with lots of unforced turnovers, appearing to stall whenever we got out of 2nd gear,
As with the last few oppositions, Wottons’ aim was made clear – to unsettle and disrupt, as they appeared to start time wasting from the 2nd minute,
Josh O, our resident bad boy being awarded a green for some dirty play. Watch that boy at EOSD, he’s a loose one,
To the goals,
Both failing within 1 minute of each other, cheered on by the M3s who had arrived for battle in the next game,
Goal 1 – Poster Boy Luke with a clutch reverse, as we see him convert routinely at training,
Goal 2 – a 1 on 1 couldn’t have fallen to a better player, with Sam securing the 3 points,
MoM and 🍾- Leo, lots of turnovers, an ahhhhh distance aerial, and a drive past several players,
DoD was a landslide for multiple offenses,
One game to go to secure our promotion. The balls in our court.
