1. Promoter
The promoter of this prize draw is Lansdown Hockey Club (“the Club”). Any questions about the draw should be directed to a committee member.
2. Eligibility
- The draw is open to current club members, parents/guardians of junior members, volunteers and coaches who complete the Lansdown Club Survey in full.
- The survey may be completed by:
+ Individuals aged 13 or over completing it themselves, and
+ Parents/guardians completing on behalf of children aged 12 or under - To enter the prize draw, entrants must:
+ Be aged 16 or over, or
+ Be aged 13–15 years old AND have parental/guardian consent. - Only one prize draw entry per person is permitted.
- Committee members may enter but will not receive preferential treatment.
3. How to Enter
- To enter, you must complete the survey and select “Yes, I am 16 or over” or “Yes – I am aged 13-15 and have parental/ guardian consent” and provide your full name and valid email address so we can contact you if you win.
- Providing your name and email for the prize draw is optional and does not affect your ability to complete the survey anonymously.
- No purchase, payment or membership upgrade is required to enter.
4. Prize Description
There are three prizes in total:
First Prize – £75 value
The Winner may choose ONE of the following:
- £75 club credit towards membership fees for the 2026/27 season, OR
- £75 value in Stick Club / equipment vouchers selected by the Club
Two Runner-Up Prizes – £50 each
Each winner may choose ONE of the following:
- £50 club credit towards membership fees for the 2026/27 season, OR
- £50 value in Stick Club / equipment vouchers selected by the Club
Important:
- Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash, in full or in part
- Prizes are non-transferable
- Prize credits must be used for the 2026/27 season only
5. Opening and Closing Dates
- Entry opens on: 24 November 2025 at 00:01
- Entry closes on: 22 December 2025 at 23:59pm
- Entries received after the closing date will not be entered.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
- Three winners will be selected at random from valid entries, using a fair randomised process.
- The draw will take place within 14 days of the survey closing.
- The winner will be contacted via the email provided.
- If a pseudonym is entered for the prize draw, the winner will be asked to contact a team captain or committee member to claim their prize with an additional piece of information shared when completing the survey.
- If we do not receive a response within 14 days, the prize may be re-awarded to another entrant.
7. Data Protection (GDPR)
- Contact information provided for the prize draw will be used only for:
a) administering the draw, and
b) notifying the winner. - Prize draw contact details will be securely deleted within 60 days after the winner is confirmed.
- Completion of other survey questions does not require providing personal data.
8. Right to Cancel, Amend or Disqualify
- The Club reserves the right to cancel or amend the draw if unforeseen circumstances arise.
- Any entrant found to be using multiple identities/ emails may be disqualified to maintain fairness.
9. Acceptance of Terms
- Entry into the draw is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
